Ok so for my Sony Games masterclass, not only am I doing destruction, but also for an overgrown feel! This is haaardd. Hard to texture, anyway. Its hard for the reason that all of my plants are going to be of Alien origin so making these plants looks believable in an earthen environment is very tricky! Also, there is still a polycount for my masterclass project, so ideally the larger trees should be under 2000 polygons each! These ones are 1500 polygons each; More to come.
Its worth mentioning that the shape of the leaf mesh and the texture map do not match up. This is because A) you cant notice unless you look for it, that the textures are stretching and B) the textures ban be re-used on other shaped leaves.
